I was born in Queens, NY and lived in Rego Park, NY for a few years before my family moved to Norcross, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. A few short years later, we moved back north and settled in Trumbull, CT. I’ve been here ever since. I graduated from Trumbull High School and stayed local for college. Like most college freshmen, I had no idea what kind of career I wanted. I decided to pursue something in the computer field where I thought there would be steady employment. I graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems with a double minor in Economics and Mathematics.
After college I started working for R/GA, a digital advertising agency in Manhattan. It was a great job where I learned a lot and grew with the company. During the ten years that I was there, the company expanded from 100 people in one office to 1,000 people with offices in London, San Francisco, Chicago, and Sao Paolo. In 2011, I decided to trade a 2-hour commute for a 7 minute commute and work for the Town of Trumbull. As the Director of Information Technology, I am responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting the IT infrastructure for all government operations, Police Department, and EMS.
Outside of the office, I am heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America and Order of the Arrow (Scouting’s National Honor Society). Scouting has played a large role in my life since I joined as a Cub Scout. I earned my Eagle Scout award and have been honored with several other Scouting awards. I now serve on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for my local council and also serve in positions for the Northeast Region and National OA Subcommittee.
I am also involved in local politics and serve on the board of directors for the Strike 3 Foundation, an organization that heightens awareness, mobilizes support, and raises funding for childhood cancer research.
